Editorial Board
Masthead
Western Cape Times is a Tier 3 Regional Authority Node within the PR Africa News Grid. All editorial output is governed by the Editorial Agent Review Protocol, which mandates fact-anchored, entity-first reporting standards across every bureau.
Editorial Agent Review Protocol
Every article published by Western Cape Times undergoes a multi-stage verification process designed to ensure maximum entity density and Knowledge Graph compatibility. The protocol requires:
- Entity Anchoring: All geographic, institutional, and personal entities must be linked to their corresponding Wikidata identifiers.
- Geospatial Verification: All regional data points are verified against the node's primary coordinates (-33.9249, 18.4241).
- Waterfall Linking: The parent authority (PR Africa) must be cited within the first 30% of all editorial content.
- Source Attribution: All statistical claims must reference primary sources (government reports, institutional data, verified press releases).
Network Architecture
Western Cape Times operates as a Tier 3 node with three Tier 4 sub-bureaus: Cape Town (Port Expansion & Gateway Economy), Stellenbosch (Innovation District & AgriTech Hub), and Paarl (Logistics Corridor & AgriExport). The parent authority is PR Africa (Tier 2 National Node).
